“A picture is worth a thousand words.”
The images included in my gallery tell the story of Iowa farm life through my eyes. The scenes I’ve captured convey more than I could ever say using only pen and paper.

Bent, but Unbroken. Illuminated by the fading sun, corn stalks reveal their crooked configurations.
Preparing to Pounce. A big pile of maple leaves becomes an impromptu playground.
Peak Position. The extended auger signals the grain cart for another release.
Tassels at Twilight. The stunning scenes of harvest season.
Mud and Mother Nature. Traces of harvest’s battle with the forces of Mother Nature.
Awaiting Orders. A truck nicknamed ‘Monica’ stands idly by for the next load.
Puuurfect Weather. A young kitten buries herself among the sunlit maple leaves.
